ON DECEMBER 13 KARTHIKA PARVA DEEPOTSAVAM IN TIRUMALA

On December 13,the annual karthika parva deepotsavam will be celebrate in tirumala.
The temple will decorated with ghee lit lamps in mud pots,the glow of the shrine in the natural brightness of the lamps.
TTD has cancelled Sahasra Deepalankara Seva,Vasanthotsavam and Pournami Garuda Seva with this festival.
Deepotsavam will celebrate between 5pm to 7pm on December 13.

KARTHEEKA POOJA OF AKKA DEVATAS TEMPLE ON GHAT ROAD

The tamil kartheeka masa pooja at Akka Devatha temple for the annual tradition was performed by the TTD Transport department on the first ghat road on yesterday.

TTD JEO participated in this event said that we perform the akka devata pujas during kartheeka month.There is an age old belief among the pilgrims trekking this route, that these folk deities will protect the pilgrims to reach their destination safely and also avoid road accidents and they used to offer prayers after reaching this point on foot.

LAKSHA KUMKUMARCHANA IN GODDESS PADMAVATHI TEMPLE ON NOVEMBER 25TH

The Annual Karthika Brahmotsavams of Goddess Padmavathi Devi in Tiruchanoor on 25th November to the Angelic celebration of Laksha Kumkumachana.

SRINIVASA KALYANOTSAVAM IN TELANGANA STATE FROM NOVEMBER 18 TO 22

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam will organises Srinivasa Kalyanam in the state of Telangana from 18th to 22nd November.

On November 18th the marriage ceremony of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam will attended on NTR stadium located in hyderabad,on November 20th the divine marriage to Sri Malayappa Swamy,Bhudevi and Sridevi will performed in the same venue.

Annabhishekam will be performed in Sri Kapileshwara Swamy temple during Karthika Brahmotsavam on november 14.

AADHAR CARD SHOULD MANDATORY IN TIRUMALA FOR ROOM BOOKING

TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao announced,Aadhar card mandatory for room booking in Tirumala.TTD makes a decision to cancel the collection of caution deposits for booking of rooms in Tirumala has come to effect on monday onwards,for the benifit of piligrims.

In case,devotees doesn't have the Aadhar card,they should submit any id proof along with phone number.

KODANDA RAMA SWAMY ANNUAL BRAHMOTSAVAMS IN CHANDRAGIRI

In Chandragiri,Sri Kondanda Rama Swamy Temple will Celebrated in  three day annual Pavithrotsavams from October 20 to 22 starting on October 19 with Ankurarpanam.

on october 20 will be Pavithrahomalu,second day Pavithra Samarpana and ends with Pavithra Visarjana.

ANNUAL BRAHMOTSAVAM 2016 HUNDI COLLECTION RS.17.30 CRORE

The seven days of the Annual Brahmotsavam 2016 has been hundi collection Rs.17.30 Crore.compare to the previous year,it will hike of 4 crores.

Sri G. Kodandarama Rao, the Dy EO of Srivari Temple, told reporters at the Media centre in Tirumala on Monday that about 5.9 lakh devotees had darshan of Lord Venkateswara in the last seven days.

The temple was kept open through out the day on all days during this year Brahmotsavams, giving more darshan space to common pilgrims.




TTD EO Dr.Sambasiva Rao  told nearly 25.30 lakh laddus and had maintained a buffer stock of 7 lakh laddus for benifit of devotees during brahmotsavams.Special flower, fruit decorations spectacular jewels donated by devotees were decorated to the deities which was the focus this year.The galleries around the Mada street was also accommodate nearly 2.25 lakh devotees for viewing the vahana sevas.

KALPAVRUKSHA VAHANAM ON FOURTH DAY ANNUAL BRAHMOTSAVAMS

On the fourth day morning of the Lord Venkateshwara  is taken out in a parade on Kalpavruksha Vahanam.

Kalpavruksha is a wish fullfilling heavenly tree in Hindu Tradition.

It has arrive out of the churning of milky sea by Asuras and Devatas want Amrutha.




In Devaloka,there are five Kalpavrikshas,called 

1.Kalpavriksha,
2.Harichandana,
3.Parijata,
4.Santana, 
5.Mandana, all are fullfilling various wishes.

In Bhagavatha purana, says that who took shelter under Kalpavruksha will not have problems of hunger and poverty.The use of Kalpavruksha vahanam denotes by Lord Venkateshwara given importance to greenary,pollution free atmosphere, environment .

SRI VENKATESWARA SWAMY SPECIAL UMBRELLAS ON GARUDA SEVA DAY

The Chennai Placed Hindhu Dharmastala Samiti will Present the Special Umbrellas to Lord Venkateswara on the fifty day of the Annual Brahmotsavams- October 7,the Garuda Seva day.


The Special Umbrellas for this Brahmotsavam have start their road Journey from Chennai on October 1 and are reach Tirumala on October 6th.




However, it is proposed that the pilgrims and devotees are requested not to offer cash or gifts to Hindu Dharmartha Samiti during the cortage of holy umbrellas from Chennai to Tirumala since the donations offered by the pilgrims will not be credited in the account of TTD Srivari Hundi.

IN TIRUPATI AND TIRUMALA "EMERGENCY CELL" OPEN UP DURING BRAHMOTSAVAM

This year, the TTD has ready to set up an “Emergency Cell” both at Tirupati and Tirumala to provide upgrade services to pilgrims.
TTD EO Dr D.Samba Siva Rao,Proposed some more measures to provide 24x7 services to our devotees both at Tirupati and Tirumala.
MEDICAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR THIS ANNUAL BRAHMOTSAVAMS:

1. Total 10 ambulance are available.
2. Apart from two hospitals and five dispensaries in Tirumala,Total of 12 First Aid Centres to be operated at Tirumala and foot path routes.
3. 35 Medical officers, 57 Paramedical Staff deputed for round the clock services.
4. Specialty departments like ardiology, orthopedic, general surgery, emergency medicine etc. along with an anesthetist deployed to cater to the pilgrim need.

TWIN TELUGU STATES OF GOVERNOR HAD DARSHAN OF LORD VENKATESWARA

Srivari Brahmotsavam in Tirumala

Sreevaari Brahmotsavam is held every year at the most divine Tirumala hills seat of the supreme God of Sri Lord Venkateswara also called Sreenivaasa.

The event is conducted for nine days from the month of september to october.



Tirumala is the glorious view at the time of bramhosthavam. Temple will be filled with full of lights and flowers.
During the ‘Brahmotsavams‘ of Tirumala Venkateswara temple,Lakhs of devotees visits the temple to get the blessings of Lord Sri Balaji.

TTD has been announcing every hour about availability of rooms and that devotees could get accommodation easily.

But many committed devotees prefer to sleep in the court yard in front of Srivari Temple after their 
darshan and submitting all of their contribution in the Hundi.There is never a dark alley in Tirumala.

Devotees keep pouring out of the temple after darshan and scramble for procuring laddus or for anna prasadam complex.

The two Brahmotsavam festivals of Tirumala Sri Venkateswara temple are named as ‘Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavam‘ and ‘Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavam‘.

Tirumala will be taken on different vahanams during morning and evening on 9 day festival on four mada streets encircling the shrine.

The vahanams will be led by Brahmaratham, devotees performing cultural dances and music, Archakas chanting sacred hymns, Elephant, horse march-fast etc.

The following celebrations are:

1st Day Celebrations

Morning: Dwajarohanam

Dwajaarohanam is a flag-hoisting festival that is held on the first day by hoisting a flag (Garudadhwaja) with a picture of Garuda (vehicle of Lord Maha Vishnu) on the top of the Dwajah Sthambham in front of the sanctum sanctorum.




Evening: Pedda Sesha Vahanam

In the evening,Aadi Sesha the thousand headed Chief Serpent God as his vehicle.Aadisesha is the seat on which Lord SriManNarayana rests in his home Sri Vaikunta.










2nd Day Celebrations:

Morning: Chinna Sesha Vahanam.

On the second day morning the Lord is taken out in a procession on Vaasuki (Serpent God) as his vehicle. In Bhagavath Geetha Lord Sri Krishna says He is Vaasuki among the serpents. Chinna Sesha Vahanam will be five headed.













Evening: Hamsa Vahanam

On the second day evening the Lord is again taken out in a procession on Hamsa (Swan) as his vehicle.Hamsa or swan means ‘pure’. Hamsa is believed to have a high intellectual capability and can distinguish good from bad.








3rd Day Celebrations:

Morning: Simha Vahanam

On the third day morning the Lord is taken out in a procession on Lion symbol as his vehicle. Lion is a symbol of royalty and power. Lord assumed the form of half man and half lion in his Narasimha Avathara. Lord Sri Krishna says in Bhagavath Geetha that he is the Lion among the animals.







Evening: Mutyapu Pandiri Vahanam

On the evening of the third day, the Lord is again taken out in procession along with 
his concerts Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi in a palanquin decorated with a canopy of pearls. Pearl is said to be a symbol of purity and royalty.







4th Day Celebrations:

Morning: Kalpavriksha Vahanam

On the fourth day of the festival the Lord is taken out in procession in the morning on Kalpa Vruksha as his vehicle signifying that he is the giver of boons to his devotees and fulfills their wishes.








Evening: Sarvabhoopala Vahanam

On the fourth day evening the Lord is again taken out in procession on a vehicle called as Sarva Bhoopala Vahanam signifying that He is the Lord of Lords.













5th Day Celebrations:

Morning: Mohini Avatharam

On the fifth day morning the Lord is taken out in procession decorated in the attire of Mohini Avatharam (Ksheera Sagara Madhanam) the one who has distributed the Divine Nectar.










Evening: Garuda Vahanam

On the fifth day evening the Lord Sri Venkateswara is taken out in procession specially decorated, with his main devotee and chief vehicle Garuda (Garukmantha) the king of birds as his vehicle. 
It is a unique occasion when thousands gather together and would like to witness the procession.











6th Day Celebrations:

Morning: Hanumantha Vahanam

On the sixth day morning the Lord is taken out in procession with Lord Hanuman as his vehicle. Hanuman was the personification of the most trusted and self less service to the Lord in his avathara as Sri Rama in Treta Yuga.
Undoubtedly Lord Hanuman was the greatest devotee of Lord Sri Rama.





Evening: Swarna Rathotsavam / Gaja Vahanam

On the sixth day evening the Lord is taken out first for Swarnarathotsavam and then in procession on Elephant (Gaja) or Airavatham as his vehicle.We find in Sri Madbhagavatham (Gajendra Moksham) Lord instantly coming to the rescue of Gajendra and get him relieved from the clutches of the Crocodile.











7th Day Celebrations:

Morning: Surya Prabha Vahanam

On the seventh day morning the Lord Venkateswara is taken out in procession with Sun God driving the Chariot.Purusha Sooktha describes Sun as born from the eyes of Lord SrimanNarayana.
Sun is said to be an incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu (Surya Narayana) .







Evening: Chandra Prabha Vahanam

On the seventh day evening the Lord is again taken out in procession with Moon as symbol of his vehicle. Purusha Sooktha describes Moon as "Chandrama Manaso Jaathaha" (Moon is born from the mind Lord Maha Vishnu).Moon is the commander of mind and is a symbol of cool and pleasantness. 
.



8th Day Celebrations:

Morning: Rathostavam

On the penultimate day (eighth day) morning the Lord Venkateswara is taken out in procession along with his consorts seated on a fully decorated Chariot pulled by the devotees with the chanting of Govinda Nama Smarana.







                                                                                
Evening: Ashwa Vahanam



On the eighth day evening the Lord is again taken out in procession with Aswa (Horse) as his vehicle symbolizing the forthcoming Kalki Avathara.Lord Venkateswara used to ride on a horse during hunting of wild animals. Lord assumed the form of Horse head during his avathara as Hayagreeva.


9th Day Celebrations:


Morning: Chakra Snanam

On the ninth day morning, last day of the Brahmostavam,specialabhishekam (Avabhrutha Snanam) is held for utsava moorthy of Lord Venkateswara and his concerts Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi in the complex of Lord Varaha Swamy temple on the banks of Swamy Pushkarini.Later, the Sudarshana Chakra  is immersed in the waters of Swamy Pushkarini. We find large number of devotes simultaneously taking a dip in the Pushkarini waters at that time. It is believed and said that one will get absolved from sins by taking a dip in Swamy Pushkarini simultaneously along with the Sudarshana Chakra on this day.


Evening: Dwajaavarohanam

On the ninth day evening the Garuda flag will be lowered as a mark of completion of the Brahmostavam.The jeeyangas will be there along with priests. They will chant various mantras.It is performed in the dwajastamba mandapa.

Governer Of Maharastra Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao at Lord Balaji Temple in Tirumala

Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Kalyanosthavam in Tirupati




The Famous Sri kodanda Rama swamy Kalyanosthavam took place at tirupati,as per the Janma Nakshatram of Sri Rama which is Punarvasu.

The wedding ceremony was held at morning 11:00am during the tune of vedic manthras and prayers by the temple purohits and attendant couple were presented by 1 dhoti/pancha and 1 blouse piece and prasadam.

After the purohit perform appropriate homas, the bridegroom and the brides are allowed to see each other at the appropriate auspicious moment as the screen is removed. 

This is followed by Mangala Sutra Darshan.

Later in the evening,the procession was held with the idols of Sri Rama, Sita and Lakshmana in the mada streets.So many devotees took part of this seva.
